Leah’s Birthday!
As you know Leah and Rob are still visiting missionaries in Turkey. If you could be so kind as to send her a comment on her blog wishing her a Happy Birthday today and them both a Merry Christmas it would be greatly appreciated. Leah’s blog is: leahmarievis.blogspot.com or could you get to her blog by clicking on “I like old people” on my blog roll on the right. Thank you so much.

Thank God it’s Friday! Christmas break has finally come for me and I am excited. I need a break from those high school kids…and some teachers. Scott and Lisa are driving down to Oregon as I speak for Christmas. Curtis and I will go to my mom’s in Inglewood on Christmas Day. I can’t wait to see my nephew…and other family too. I may hang out with Rob’s parents again. Last night Scott and I took, Jonathan (our best cross-country runner who got 2nd team all-league) to Applebee’s as a treat for running 3 miles in 17 min. and 30 sec. He deserved it. He has come a long way being in special ed. his whole life. He is actually a resource student, nothing is physically wrong with him. His has ADD and stutters a lot. But he just may be good enough to get a college scholarship by the time he is a senior!
I have been taking the medicine the doctor prescribed me for about a week and a half. I’m finally over the dry mouth, sleeplessness and nausea in my stomach. You’ll have to tell me if it’s working or not. Oh, and I passed my guitar and piano final’s with flying colors. My teachers said I did exceptionally well. I will be signing up for the next level in February.
I am asking people to pray for me as I am preparing to take the CSET Science test January 20, 2007 to be able to teach Science at the high school I am currently at next Semester, or next Fall. I really need to pass. I am studying diligently to learn as much as I can about Biology, Earth and Planetary Science, Chemistry and Physics. I didn’t major in Science so there is a lot of information to learn, understand and remember. I would be greatly appeciative of your prayers. Also, please keep praying for me and Curtis. Thanks.
What’s going on…
I have two more weeks before Christmas break. I’m excited because I need the rest. Also, I am nervous about my piano and guitar class finals next week. I have some difficult songs, chords and sheet music exercises to play. I know the songs well, but I’m afraid I’m going to be overly nervous and mess up. Hopefully, I’ll do great. I went to the doctor today and got medicine for my anxiety. I’m a little frustrated because the name brand doesn’t say it’s for anxiety. I’m confused as to why she gave me that brand. Anyway, I’m not even sure it will work. Anglea Ferraro went shopping with me for a birthday gift for Leah. I had fun with her. She is an awesome person to have as a friend. We ate at the Mongolian grill in the Tyler mall. I liked it! I dont’ know why anyone would ever eat at those other pre-cooked chinese food places after eating there. It was healthy and very good. Also, if you could pray for Curtis and me I would appreciate. That’s all for now…I’m pretty tired.
