Who I am…
Hi, my name is Grace Smart Margain and I am 30 years old. I was named after my Grandmother who passed away about 5 years ago when I was in graduate school…actually I was given her middle name as my first name. I went to college on a track & field and basketball scholarships at CBU. I graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science and continued my education at CSU,Fullerton where I obtained an M.S. degree in Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and American College of Sports Medicine Health/Fitness Instructor Certified. I love music and enjoy every moment I get to play, sing or wright about my innermost thoughts. I love God with all of my heart, mind and soul. I never want to be without Him. He is my everything! My husband’s name is Curtis and I love him very much. He is more than what I could ask for in a man. His truest intentions are always to be there for me and take care of me. I love my church family…I feel like got landed me in a goldmine. I have been at Sandal’s since the beginning–my college roommate, Anna, would take me and when Heidi entered my life I went all the time with her. I am who I am because of how God has used my family at Sandal’s church to change my life for the better and to mold me into who I am in Christ. I always say that for me Church is far more fun than going to Magic Mountain…and I like going to Magic Mountain! Although, I feel as though my heart can’t take those roller-coasters sometimes. I am a quiet person who is very observant, careful with choosing the people I feel safe with and can trust. I’m an Assistant Head Track & Field Coach at a local high school…and hopefully someday plan on landing myself a teaching position…patience is my key.
